Born in the Philippines and educated at GIA in Bangkok, April Mayo is a Graduate Gemologist and jewelry designer based between Bangkok and Manila. She sources gemstones and oversees production in Bangkok's renowned jewelry district, working exclusively with 14k and 18k solid gold, natural diamonds, and hand-selected colored gemstones.
April's love for jewelry was shaped long before any formal training. It began at home — watching her grandmother clasp a gold bracelet that had once belonged to her own mother, and seeing the way her mother's eyes softened each time she wore a ring from a chapter of life she carried quietly with her. In their household, jewelry was never about adornment alone. It was how love was made tangible, how milestones were honored, and how the women in her family stayed connected across distance and time.
